Our Process

We recommend seeing an experienced disputes lawyer early in the dispute process. This way you can get advice before matters escalate, with the reassurance of knowing you have the expertise of a legal professional behind you.

Our usual process with disputes is to provide you with a fixed fee initial advice, based on a review of the relevant documents and what you have told us.
We meet with you and provide open and honest feedback on your matter and provide you with our suggested strategy. This way you can decide whether proceeding with the matter is the best strategy and what your options are.
For our ongoing business clients, we offer initial dispute advice to you as part of your retainer with Towers Legal.

Once initial advice has been provided, we often proceed to an ongoing engagement to represent your interests in your dispute, keeping in mind the value of the dispute and the cost benefit to you.

Our expertise includes claims for professional negligence and alleged breaches of statutory duties. Our focus is on resolving the dispute quickly, effectively and cost efficiently.

There are various ways to keep your costs under control in a dispute. Our fees for acting on your behalf in dispute resolution can be partially fixed in stages for your benefit. If we do need to bill at an our hourly rate we will provide a costs estimate ahead of time and we will keep you updated regularly.
